Located in the village of Nuevo México, San Vicente Pacaya, Department of Escuintla. The cooperative was founded in 1995 and brings together people from different regions of Guatemala who returned from Mexico as a result of the armed conflict.
The cooperative covers a total area of 545 hectares, divided into: natural forest area, agricultural area, pasture area, forest plantations, agroforestry systems, and urban area.
The cooperative consists of a general assembly, a board of directors, a supervisory committee, and an education committee.
