Located in the municipality of Quezada in the department of Jutiapa, it is an organization made up of seven communities that self-identify as the Xinka people.
The neighbors of the village of Quezada have taken action to defend their territory and protect communal land. They have contributed to the protection and conservation of the forest by reforesting degraded forest areas. They have participated in workshops and training sessions that have enabled them to take ownership of the governance of their territory and learn techniques to protect their communities' natural resources, as well as to implement agricultural plots with agroforestry systems.
